To clarify, with 1.4 you can't use the touch screen to expand groups, select groups, select contacts. How ever I can navigate with the arrow keys on my qwerty keys and select with the return key. As the previous poster pointed out, when you bring up the qwerty keyboard the text box doesn't sit above it; you can't see it. Some inertia scrolling would be good too, as the slider scrollbar is pedantic...

Please can you tell me if the Vibration feature has been added in yet? I don't want to even download this version if it doesn't vibrate, the sounds are too annoying to keep on.

Thanks very much for your work guys :-D
However, I downloaded v1.4 a few days ago and found it to be pretty unstable. I had trouble logging in and experienced slowness and crash bugs. I could hardly use it...so I reverted back to v1.3 and it's working great now :-)

I think the following things should be looked at for the next windows mobile mxit update:

    1. Tabs - I really think tabs are a must, and I think everyone would want to see them on windows mobile's mxit

    2. Larger Emoticons (they're pretty small on screen, I've seen them on both my phone as well as an HTC Touch Pro 2)

    3. A larger text box (this isn't really a big deal, but if you're typing a long message it can get in the way)

    4. Increased stability and performance. I've noticed that sometimes mxit can slow down the phone and be a bit clunky.

    *EDIT*
    5. Forgot about this one, woops! :-D Would it be possible to look at implementing kinetic scrolling in future mxit versions? I think that would be nice ;)

Again, thanks a lot for your work guys ;) I'm sorry if the things I've mentioned above have already been discussed, as I've only recently got my smart phone and have begun reading the mxit section here. I really hope we get one, complete, fully functional version of mxit for windows mobile :-P Maybe I'll try V1.4 again soon...

I can second on that I have an Xperia X1i as well and have the same problems, and i've also noticed that when im talking with a certain contact and that contact goes offline then it doesn't refresh while im in that contacts chat, as soon as i go out the chat box then i see He/Her is offline.

And I also have an issue with inviting and receiving invites, so far inviting people works with most phones, but i cannot receive any invites at all.

Hi I installed 1.4 but had to go back to 1.3 because 1.4 is very slow the whole time and kicks me out. I Have an Xperia X1i

I enjoyed some of the new functions on 1.4 but its way to slow.

    Hey Mikey :-D
Well, I've made two long posts in this thread about bugs, issues and wants/needs associated with Mxit Windows Mobile, and I'm hoping that the issues of stability will be addressed in the next release.

However, would you maybe be able to let us know what's happening with Mxit Windows Mobile? Maybe tell us if there will be a V1.5 and, if so, what will it bring?

    Thanks a lot ;)

The pocket pc version doesn't look very good on the htc hd2, plus the textfield is never in focus. So before you type anything you have to tap it.

1.4 is totally unusable on my Htc touch diamond 2.

Pocket pc version is extremely slow, when can the bug fix release be expected ?

Unfortunately we cannot give an exact time and date as to when this will be released.

At the risk of sounding ungrateful: Its been a month, and most of the bugs dont lie across a wide spectrum of devices like the java client. They are few and pretty specific, I understand the market for the smart phone client isn't as large as the normal one. But jeez, it feels like we're being marginalized here...
